Summary
Patricia O’Carroll’s three bedroom family home was originally two farm workers’ cottages. In a bid to cut her carbon emissions, Patricia has made her home more sustainable in a number of ways. Photovoltaic panels generate electricity, a wood burning stove is used for both heating and hot water, high levels of loft insulation have been installed and some of the windows are double glazed.
Outside, features include rainwater collection, composting and a pond.

Directions
Bus route number 29 goes past the door (or you can get out at Mendip Hospital).
You cannot park outside the house, but can park lower down the road where its wider and walk up to the cottage.
