Introduction--List of homes and gardens--Dates of open days--Location map--Products, builders and suppliers--Our sponsors--More on eco-renovation
Summary
Kim Robinson has created a productive garden so that her family can enjoy fresh food: ‘Home grown food tastes better and we like to know the provenance of all our food’. Her garden produces a wide range of fruit, herbs and vegetables supported by rainwater collection, the use of wormeries and extensive composting. Having completed the Somerset Composting Champions course, Kim ensures that all food waste, other than meat and bone, is recycled in the garden. There is a 20 foot polytunnel to increase growing capacity. There are five active beehives (for honey and beeswax), and 11 hens and 2 cockerels for eggs. Hopefully there will be some newly hatched chicks for the open days.

Directions
If travelling by bus, you can get the 376 from Wells to Glastonbury, get off at the Browns Garden Centre stop, and walk quarter of a mile up Woodford Lane. Woodford House is the pink one on the left.
If coming by car: From the A39 between Wells and Coxley, turn into Woodford Lane (beside Brownes garden centre, signposted to Launcherly and North Wooton). Woodford House is the pink house on the left hand side as you start to go up the hill. If you reach a sharp right hand bend, you've gone too far. Please turn down the farm track and into our gravel drive and do NOT turn into our neighbour's tarmacked drive.
